Trumpet, Chas E. George, Boston (after 1910).
Identifying mark(s):
”The / Georgian / Made by / CHAS. E. GEORGE / BOSTON” is engraved on the bell. “PAT. JULY. 1910” and the serial number: 14266, are engraved on the back of the second valve.
Description:
There are 3 Périnet valves at right of bell tube. There is a tuning slide at first bend with a hexagonal closing nut, a water key on the first bend, and a left hand, finger ring in the screw-closing mount on the 3rd valve slide.

It is uncertain as to whether Charles E. George made this instrument.
Measurements:
Total length of tube: c. 125.5 cm.
Bore: 1.1 cm. at 2nd and 3rd valve slides.
Bell Diameter: 11.9 cm.
Associated Mouthpiece:
“FRANK HOLTON & CO. HEIM MODEL / 2” is inscribed on the mouthpiece.
