E263 Trumpet in B-flat with A slide
Trumpet, The Vega Company, Boston(1922).
Identifying mark(s):
“CHAS. E. GEORGE / MODEL / (Trade mark) / VEGA / STANDARD / Made by / THE VEGA COMPANY / 755. Columbus Ave / BOSTON” is engraved on the bell. “PAT. JULY 1910 / STANDARD / (in star) VEGA / BOSTON” “UNION / (in shield) [illegible] / LABEL” and the serial number 20367 are engraved on the back of the second valve.
Description:
There are 3 Périnet valves at right of bell tube. There is a tuning slide on first bend; an A-slide inside the tuning slide, which is closed with a knurled closing nut; a water key on the first bend; and a left hand finger ring in the screw-closing mount on the 3rd valve slide.
