E260 Trumpet in B-flat
Trumpet, Vega Co, Boston (between 1910 and 1920).
Identifying mark(s):
“(in star) VEGA / Made / by the / Standard / Band Inst. Co. / 62 Sudbury St. / BOSTON” is engraved on the bell.
“STANDARD / (in star) VEGA / BOSTON / 4903 / PAT. JULY 1910 / UNION / (in shield) MPBPB / & SWU / LABEL” is engraved on the back of the 2nd valve.
Description:
There are 3 Périnet valves on the right of the bell tube, an A-slide at the first bend, a tuning slide at the second bend, and 2 water keys at the first and third bends (the latter is mounted on the 3rd valve slide).

Notes:
There is an odd curve in the tube at the third bend to enter the 3rd valve.
Measurements:
Total length: measurement not possible due to broken mouthpiece tube
Bore: 1.15 cm. at 3rd valve slide.
Thickness: 0.5 mm at the bell
